Kionna Frierson

Kionna Frierson was born and raised in San Francisco in one of the HOPE SF sites. Growing up in a low income neighborhood and gaining certain lived experiences Kionna became interested in learning about decision making processes and how to make meaningful change in her community. She currently attends UC Berkeley with a major in African American/Black Studies and minor in Public Policy. She also works with UC Berkeley’s Educational Opportunity Program as an Intake Staff helping to provide resources for low-income, first-generation and historically underrepresented students like herself.
