Meklit Biliard (she,her) is a 2nd year MPP student at the Goldman School of Public Policy with policy interests in racial and gender equity in education as well as advocacy in faith based immigrant communities. She currently works as a Graduate Student Researcher for the Office of Racial Equity. Prior to graduate school, Meklit completed her undergraduate education at Pepperdine University with a major in International Studies and Spanish minor with an emphasis in Intercultural Communication. She brings an understanding of the difficulties faced by African immigrant communities, inequity in education, and disability justice. Her desire to create a more equitable, loving, and accessible world for those most vulnerable remains at the center of her academic and professional pursuits.
